Baby Walter

The greatest blessing to our family! Walter was 8lbs 11 oz, and today at week two he weighed in at 9 lbs 12 oz. I have a bad feeling that all of my babies will be born toddler sized. :)

We have been greatly blessed to have a lot of family to love and support us! Thank you to everyone who called, visited, and prayed for us! We definitely needed the help.

Here are a few pictures for those who haven't been able to cuddle this handsome boy yet!

we would have posted a picture of us going into the hospital but i was in a lot of pain and probably would have yelled at seth if he would have suggested a photo op.

so here is a picture of us five days before walter was born, this was the day we celebrated Seth's birthday at the Call's Sunday dinner. I made a cake and specifically decided not to focus in on it; however, you will notice that it is present in the picture. it may or may not have looked very similar to the cake that Hagrid made for Harry Potter.

So I never thought I would walk into the hospital when I would be having labor contractions but I did. Seth offered to pull up to the front and get a wheelchair but I was too worried that the nurses were going to check me and I would be dilated to a two like at my doctors apt four days earlier. I was in pain for sure, every 4-5 min lasting 30 seconds but I guess Hollywood makes everything look a lot more dramatic.

This is us, probably an hour before delivery! Look how happy we are, I would have been screaming at this point had it not been for the epidural. I did notice before the epidural that with my contractions I felt a lot better if I just didn't talk, move, or think. Once I got the epidural I could not believe how good I felt!

I pushed for about twenty minutes and yay! we became parents to a healthy baby boy

post hospital pictures.....

we were trying to get a good picture of him next to this cute rhino we were given by Sherie Dotson and couldn't quite put him next to it so here is our best attempt to measure 1 week old walter

Amanda and Chase came and visited with their two precious children yesterday. We just had to get a picture of the two baby cousins. Baby walter is a few weeks younger than baby logan but I can see him outweighing his cousin very soon.....

Last but not least! Seth is the cutest dad! he is always so willing to help out with the baby even at 3 in the morning when he has class at 8 am! I love him and I am so grateful for a husband that loves hanging out with his baby boy

Tis the season!!! (to catch up in the blogosphere) :) so i can never figure out how to get the pictures just right and put words around them so i decided to not worry about it and post them separately! Seth and I have been super busy with work and with school. Seth is in his senior year of his undergraduate and first year masters student. He is doing really well! Seth has chosen an internship in New York City. We are so excited for what the future holds for us!
As for baby sainsbury we are 33 weeks along and I CANNOT believe how much he is kicking! I could tell from watching all my pregnant sisters that pregnancy was hard but...I did not realize how uncomfortable it is. One example that I constantly deal with every night is waking up and realizing i need to switch sides from left to right and so I gather all of my strength, grab my belly and roll...ten minutes later i do the same thing.
We took some pictures of us and the baby bump hopefully you can see it :)
The other pictures are of Mary coming and visiting over the holiday season. We were sad that Jared couldn't come out too but it was probably better that he studied for his boards. It was so much fun playing with baby Noah! He is such a cutie! and mary is cool too! Love you mary glad we could see you Mary and Noah.
The last picture is of Christmas morning! We spent christmas with the Sainsbury's this year and it was a blast! I wish I had a picture of the family together but only have one of seth and I and our present pile. Notice my pregnant pjs....seth picked them out, they are soooo comfy. I am so thankful for Seth and for our families. This year has been a crazy one and everyone has made it so wonderful! Happy New Years Everyone!

Things I do for fun....

so you should note that I am not in this video...but I posted it because I am in a Jazz dance class and I needed somewhere to post this video so that my friend could have access to it. I am also not in it because I rolled my ankle last week and have yet to attempt this rigorous activity on my bad ankle. My class performed this last week and I perform it tomorrow....I am a little afraid. And when you watch this video and compare it to what you know about my dancing experience, you will see why. Wish me luck!

Oh where, oh where, is my time being spent?

You know, I do not really have the time to be writing on our blog as often as I have. Yet I keep finding myself thinking, "I've gotta do this homework assignment, but blogging sounds a little more interesting right now." (those who know me, are probably thinking yeah right-I must be sick or something) Alas, I conclude that everyone (Doreen, Sherie, Carol and Jonathan-haha) will complain that I never update so I really have no choice, right?!

So this blog entry is mostly about something really cool that Seth bought us for Christmas. It is a magic apple peeler thingy, see below for awesome visual!

This apple peeler will peel, de-core, and cut your apple into a cute little spiral! Best of all, it only takes ten seconds. I Know I am starting to sound like an infomercial so I will stop, but I just had to express my love for this amazing tool. I mean who wouldn't want their apple in cute curly cues.
