put on quite a show
rihanna,oh blessed woman! Many people have asked me what my fetish with rihanna, beyonce etc. is....well it is that they are so empowering. Who doesnt need empowerment? They are perfect to listen to when you are angry, tired, or heartbroken. Basically they are the ultimate way to get over rough things in life. After listening to their songs I am not angry, vengeful, or sad. I just want to pick myself up and move on. What else could be better than that? So basically, stop crying do something about it while you listen to the all too awesome rihanna and beyonce! KAZAA

IM AN AUNTIE

everyone! I am an auntie, again. Landon Bert Lewis, number 16. He is so adorable and teeny. I have not held a newborn for about a year, so this is great news!
As a matter of fact it has caused me to rethink a few things. Of which, I dont know why, because it is not like I had that kid. Anywho, hopefully this blog will help little girls who want babies to pause and think a moment. Let me just begin with the fact that I love babies! I also know several other girls my age who that get a goofy look in their eye and then raise their voice two octaves above normal when they hold a baby. It is true, something changes in a girl when they see babies. of course, I believe that is only because they see them for a few minutes, as opposed to the whole day. The truth is, girls dont know what they really want. We may know how many kids we want (or think we want). But I dont think that we know what we are getting into. When I went to visit my sister and her baby in the hospital, I realized that it is not all fun. It is hard work, and babies are huge (comparatively). I love babies, and I love it when my siblings bring their babies over. Yet, after this last baby I have kind of realized that having a baby isnt so simple....you have to not only take care of yourself but a baby who needs someone 24/7. According to my mother and my sisters it is hard but it is worth it. It is the first part of that sentence that I think girls sometimes forget. It is hard. so the next time you see a little baby and think "oh i want one," like you are looking into a pet store adoring the merchandise. Remember, that things from afar may look better then they sometimes are.
ps Abby is also an adorable baby niece :)
