Entering a world I know nothing about

I guess you could say I have been pressured into the blogging world. Everyone (and by everyone I mean three or four individuals) around me have accepted and become addicted to it. I believe that acceptance is the first step to addiction. And as you can tell I have succumbed to the first step of the addiction of blogging. In fact it is the same addiction that I have had for other webapps like myspace and facebook. So why this obsession with blogging? How is blogging any different? Quite truthfully it isn't any different. You could do the same thing that you do on blogs that you can on myspace and facebook. The question you would then ask me is, why do you have a blog? The answer, for me (and probably for everyone else), is I don't know. And yet I start today, writing to no one but me, hoping that those who read this will be able to better understand a few things about me. So wish me luck on my newest webapp, and here I go.
